A proud history

With drip irrigation already a proven, superior method of irrigation in the 70's, DIS made a revolutionary breakthrough in 1976 by developing the original inline irrigation tubing product. Gershon Eckstein thereafter founded DIS as a company, with the purpose of licensing its technology and establishing production companies throughout the world.

DIS went on to establish manufacturing plants throughout the world, including countries such as Greece (Eurodrip), USA (Drip In), Spain, South Africa and Australia.

In 1995, DIS introduced a revolutionary Pressure Compensated (PC) emitter, the DIS-PC, a unique product which it sells under license internationally. Building on this highly successful product, DIS produced another innovation with the
development of the DIS-RPC, a Retention (No Drain) Pressure Compensated emitter.

A front-runner in technological innovation, DIS has been in the market for over 25 years. We continue today to set the pace for technological advancement in the field of drip irrigation.
